The Cooperative Memorial Society (CMS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1966, dedicated to supporting individuals and families in end-of-life planning. Presently, our organization comprises around 28,000 active members across Alberta. We strive to offer comprehensive information and guidance on end-of-life arrangements, fostering proactive planning among our members. We equip our members with essential tools to document their preferences and vital statistics, facilitating smoother transitions upon passing. Moreover, through strategic partnerships with locally-owned funeral service providers, we secure discounted rates for our members, ensuring affordable access to funeral services. With contracts spanning various funeral homes across Alberta, we deliver peace of mind to our members and their loved ones.
