Individual Membership
Each adult must have their own membership, which must be purchased before death to be valid.

Communication and Login Information
We communicate with members primarily through their personal email, which also serves as their login. You will receive a link to create your password, allowing you to access and update your personal preferences and contact information. Please keep your contact details up to date.

No Email?
If you do not have an email address, you can mail a cheque for $40 per person (GST included) to:

Please include each member’s full name, address, and phone number(s).

Inform Your Next-of-Kin
Be sure to notify your personal representative(s) and next-of-kin about your membership. They need to know you have a membership to access member prices, plans, and your profile details when making your final arrangements. All they need to do is contact any one of our funeral service providers, who can access the details through our registry.

Gifting a Membership
Give the gift of peace of mind with a CMS membership. Since 1966, CMS has supported over 28,000 Albertans with end-of-life planning, offering discounted funeral rates and comprehensive guidance. A CMS membership provides valuable resources, support, and affordable services during challenging times. If gifting a membership, you can enter the recipient’s name on the application while using your own mailing address and email.

Membership Fee
To complete your membership, fill out the form and pay $42.15 (includes $40 membership, GST, and $2.15 processing fee). This fee covers membership only, not funeral costs.
