The Cooperative Memorial Society (CMS) is a member-owned organization governed by a policy-based Board of Directors and led by an Executive Director. Our members elect volunteer Directors who set strategic direction, establish policy, and ensure the organization remains accountable to its mission and values. Day-to-day operations are carried out by the Executive Director within the authority granted by the Board. This governance structure promotes transparency, fairness, and sound decision-making in the best interests of our members. At CMS, our members come first—always.
