Serenity Funeral Service is a community-owned, not-for-profit, full-service funeral home operating as a society. Founded in 1999 by a group of like-minded individuals, Serenity was the first of its kind—not corporately or independently owned. Instead, it is governed by an elected Board of Directors, ensuring a collective, community-focused approach to its operations.

What Makes Serenity Unique
In today’s world, there’s no such thing as a standard funeral service. Families are increasingly choosing ceremonies and tributes that reflect their loved one’s personality and fit their lifestyle. Serenity embraces this shift, creating personalized, meaningful experiences for the families we serve. The Serenity Family Service Society is made up of numerous churches from various denominations. These churches elect an executive board to guide the direction and oversee the operations of Serenity Funeral Service. We are committed to:
  • Meeting the highest ethical standards.
  • Being sensitive to the changing needs of our communities.
  • Treating all families with fairness, dignity, and respect.
  • Working within the financial means of all families.
